Agha Ali was born on 4 December 1985 in Lahore, Punjab. He is the younger son of renowned 1980s actor Agha Sikandar (died: 1993), himself the son-in-law of legendary singer, actor, and producer Inayat Hussain Bhatti, thus Agha Ali’s paternal grandfather. He is also the nephew of television actor Waseem Abbas, cousin of Ali Abbas and grandson of actor Keefi. His brother Ali Sikandar is also an actor and writer while singer-turned-actor Ali Azmat is his mother’s cousin. Agha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Forman Christian College.
Agha Ali did various theatre plays during his college days to hone his skills and also performed as a singer in more than 15 plays. He started his career in 2006 as an anchor host on channel ATV. In 2005, he appeared in the serial “Yaad Piya Ki Aaye” in which he appeared as Sameer. In 2008, he acted in the serial “Satrangi“. In 2012, he also starred in the serial “Mein Hari Piya” aired on HUM TV and received positive reviews from viewers and critics. In addition, he received a performance nomination for Best SOAP Actor.
